The fraya Reclamation sets the existing one back from the

sea front, and the building is in any case very old and inadequate for present requirements.

It is proposed to build the Har

bour Office on the reclamation belonging to Government op-

posite the end of Wing Lok street, and one block of the

; new Western Market on the reclamation in front of the

Harbour Office, and another (for one would be insufficient)

on the site of the existing Harbour Office,

; intended to sell after making a continuation of Jerv#is Street through it which will be a very desirable San- itary improvement and enhance the value of the property.
